Trifolium strictum L., it is an annual herb, up to 10-30 cm, glabrous, smooth, stiff, erect or ascending. Leaflets oblong or lanceolate-linear, strongly veined, denticulate all around, with glandular teeth, stipules broadly ovate-obtuse, fused into a flared-triangular tube, denticulate-glandular. Pink flowers, small (4-5 mm), sessile, erect, in small, globose, tight heads, peduncles elongated, stiff, axillary and terminal. Calyx glabrous, with almost equal teeth, at the end spreading, standard slightly exceeding the chalice. Pod protruding, not dented, with 2 seeds.
