Trigonella maritima Delile ex Poir.

Trigonella maritima Delile ex Poir., it is an annual herb, procumbent, diffusely branched, glabrous or puberulent, up to 30 (-40) cm. long. Leaflets 4-10 (-12) 1I 3-6 (-10) mm, obcriangular to obovate or ± obcordate, shortly and shallowly toothed, peduncles 1-2 cm long, often shorter than the sublcnding leaves, later thickening conspicuously, (3-) 5-IO-flowered. Flowers yellow, 5-7 mm long, pedicels I-1.5 mm. deflexed in fruit. Calyx 2-2.5 mm long, teeth triangular. c. halfa long as the tube. Corolla twice or more as long as the calyx. Pods (8-) 10)-15 x 2 (-2.5) mm, pendulous,  many-seeded, sub glabrous to sparsely hairy. Seeds c. 1 mm. ovoid, brown, smooth. Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Jun,   Vern: Kherta ,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Central & SE. Medit.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
