Trifolium micranthum Viv., it is an annual herb, up to 5-25 cm, glabrous, very slender, lying-diffuse. Upper leaves alternate, leaflets obovate, wedge-shaped, denticulate, all equally and very briefly petiolulate, stipules oblong-acute, not dilated at the base, longer than the petiole. Pale yellow flowers, whitish at the end, 2-6, spaced apart, in very small, loose heads; peduncles filiform, flexuous, longer than the leaf, very fine pedicels, longer than the calyx tube, standard smooth, streamlined on the back, slightly curved, barely longer than the non-diverging wings, style 6 times shorter than the stipitated pod.   Life Form: Th,   Flowering in:————-,   Vern:———–,   Phytochoria: ES+MED+IT, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, N. Africa to Iran, Europe to Caucasus.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
