Anthyllis vulneraria L. / Infraspecifics: Anthyllis vulneraria ssp. maura (Beck) Maire,  it is a herbs annual to perennial, without woody branches, pubescent. Lowermost leaves usually reduced to a terminal leaflet or imparipinnate with much larger terminal leaflet than the others, upper leaves imparipinnatc, and the lerminal leaflet much larger to almost equal to the other ones. Heads many-flowered subtended by 2 palmatiscet braets borne close beneath the flowers. Calyx ± inflated at anthesis, ± constricted at the apex, with 5 unequal teeth with an oblique mouth, white to brownish hairy (usually ± appressedly white, shiny-hairy in our plants). Corolla yellow, orange red, pink, purple, whitish or parti-coloured. Pod 1-2-seeded, when 2-seeded never constricted between the seeds.  Life Form: H,   Flowering in: Feb- Apr,   Vern:———–,   Phytochoria: ES+MED+IT, The native range of this species is Europe to Iran, N. & NE. Tropical Africa.   Notes: Wild in Libya, medicinal plant.
