Cerastium glomeratum Thuill., it is an annual plant, with slender taproots, the stems erect or ascending, branched, 5-45 cm, hairy, glandular at least distally, rarely eglandular; small axillary tufts of leaves absent, the leaves not marcescent, ± sessile; blade 5-20(-30) × 2-8(-15) mm.,  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Jun,   Vern:———,   Phytochoria: Cosm, The native range of this species is Europe, Macaronesia to Assam. Notes: Wild in Libya, it is a common weed in cultivated fields and gardens lawns.
