Ebenus armitagei Schweinf. & Taub., it is a small shrublet, the leaves 3-foliolate, with obovate or oblanceolale-oblong leaflets, stlipules broadly ovate, with usually emarginate, 2(-3)-dentate at the apices. Inflorescence head-like spikes, corolla 2-3 times, shorter than the calyx-teeth which is c. 3 times as long as the tube, ovary globose, villous, style glabrous. Pod small, 1-seeded, included within calyx. Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: ————-, Vern: ———-, Phytochoria: Near Endemic, The native range of this species is N. Libya to NW. Egypt. Notes: Wild in Libya.
