Launaea procumbens (Roxb.) Ramayya & Rajagopal , it is a perennial herbs, rosulate  branched from base, taproot with shoot -bearing lateral roots.The Stems 5-30 cm, divaricately branched, puberulent or glabrous, with few leaves or leafless., Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: Mar-Apr,   Vern: ——, Phytochoria: SA+IT, The native range of this species is Egypt to Central Asia and Myanmar, Arabian Peninsula.  Notes: Wild in Libya. in sandy ground with pebbles.
