Linaria tenuis (Viv.) Spreng., it is an annual herb, 10-30 (-50) cm tall, glabrous or with glandular hairy inflorescence; stem 1-many, erect, usually branched from the base, flexuous. Leaves linear filiform to linear oblong, alternate, those of sterile shoots opposite, 20-60 x 1-1.5 (-2) mm. Raceme lax; bracts akin to leaves, almost equal or somewhat shorter than pedicel; pedicel stiff, 3-4 (-5) mm long, glabrous to hairy. Calyx lobes linear-lanceolate, 4-5 x 0.75-1 mm acute to sub obtuse, with membranous margin, and a distinct mid rib, glandular hairy. Corolla yellow, 8- 10 mm long; spur almost as long as corolla, straight or somewhat curved palate yellow. Larger stamens 4-5 mm and shorter ones c. 3 mm long. Style filiform, bifid, 4·5 mm long. Capsule oblong, cylindrical, 5-7 x 3-4 mm, almost glabrous to somewhat hairy. Seeds numerous, transversely rugose, black, somewhat kidney shaped, 0.75 mm long.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Mar-Apr,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: MED+SA, The native range of this species is S. Greece.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
