Lupinus digitatus Forssk., it is an annual,   Upright plant, often thick stem, 30-60 (80) cm. -Leaves with unequal petioles, digitate, with 9 leaflets more or less long and wide, 2-4 cm. long, linear or oblong-linear, more or less strongly silky, especially at the lower part. Whorled flowers in 3-4 clusters, often well above the rest of the plant. Calyx a little gibbous at the upper part, endowed, between the two lips, with a thin bracteole, entirely silky-hispid, bilabiate, with entire lower lip and long bifid upper lip. -Corolla of a bright blue, alternating with the white color of albinizing colonies and, on volcanic soils, a pale purplish tint. – Straightened standard of the same length as the other pieces, but not covering them, barely unguiculated. -Wings and keel also not or barely unguiculate, the keel cymbiform. Reddish pod, very stubby, usually with 3-5 seeds, these rough. The colonies growing on coastal sands have flowers of a uniform bright blue, smaller than those on other sites (as well as all parts of the plant) Stations on mixed volcanic soils. The plant furnishes good pasturage for camels and all stock.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in:————-,   Vern:—————,   Phytochoria: SA, The native range of this species is N. Africa to Senegal.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
