Paronychia argentea Lam., it is a perennial plant, prostrate to procumbent, rusty or purple reddish, basally woody, Branches spreading to 40 cm. retforsely hairy to glabrescent. Leaves sessile or minutely, petioled narrowly elliptic-oblanceolate or narrowy obovate, 4-10 (-15) x 2.5-5 (-6) mm., Life Form: H,   Flowering in: Jan-Jun,   Vern:——–,   Phytochoria: MED,  The native range of this species is Canary Islands, Medit. to S. Central Iraq and Sudan. Notes: Wild in Libya, common in sandy and rocky places.
