Pteranthus dichotomus Forssk.,  it is an annual herb,10-15 cm tall, di or trichotomously branched, fleshy, somewhat papillose-hairy. Stem and branches jointed at nodes, with 3-9.5 mm long inter nodes, glabrous. Leaves somewhat fascicueate, sessile, basal obovate-spathulate, 8-20 mm long, 2-3 mm wide., Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-May,   Vern:———,   Phytochoria: SA+IT,  The native range of this species is SE. Spain to SW. Pakistan and Arabian Peninsula.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
