Najas minor All., it is a small hydro annual herb  submerged, with smooth stems, forkedly branched. Leaves up to 30 (-45) x 1 mm, minutely spinulose-denticulate, sheaths shortly auriculate. Flowers monoecious, male flowers enclosed within spathe, anther 1-thecous, and female flowers naked. Fruit 2-3 mm long.  Life Form: Hy,   Flowering in: Jul-Sebt,   Vern:————–,   Phytochoria: S-Cosm, The native range of this species is Temp. & Subtropical Eurasia to N. Africa.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
