| Trifolium cherleri L., it is an annual herb, up to 5-15 cm, softly hairy-whitish, with spreading hairs, lying or ascending. Leaflets in an inverted heart, barely denticulate, medium stipules with free part ovate-lanceolate, acute. Whitish flowers, in globose-depressed heads, solitary, terminal, very deciduous, sessile and widely involucrated by the very dilated stipules of the 3 floral leaves, the upper one orbicular, rounded, not acuminate. Fruiting calyx with obconical tube, hairy, with 20 ribs, with ciliate teeth, erect, stiff, setaceous, equal, 1 time longer than the tube. Corolla shorter than the calyx.
