| Vicia hybrida L., it is an annual herb climbing, 20-50 cm, hairy-bristly. Leaves with 4-8 pairs of obovate or oblong leaflets, truncated or notched,rowing tendrils, stipules entire or 2-lobed, unspotted. Flowers yellowish, large, axillary, solitary, subsessile. Calyx bristly, bell-shaped, with slightly unequal teeth, erect, shorter than the tube, hairy standard outwards to the base. Pods 25-30 mm by 8-9, oblong, stipitate, bristling with white non-tuberculous hairs at the base, pendulous and tawny.
