Teucrium polium L., it is a dwarf shrub, up to 10-40 cm tall, densely tomenteuous, canescent, or white fleecy, branches ascending or erect, panicled or corymbosc. Leaves sessile, narrowly oblong to linear, 1-3 cm long, revolute margined, obtuse, crenate, branched hairy, often fascicled. Flowers arranged in short penduncled, simple or compound, globose heads. Bracts leaf-like, linear-spathulate, entire, shorter than flowers. Calyx wooly-tomentose. 2.5-4.5 mm long, tubular-campanulate, teeth ovate, acute or obtuse.  ± equal, densely hairy. Corolla white or greenish yellow, little longer than clayx. Stamens slightly exserted.   Life Form: H,   Flowering in: Mar-July ,   Vern: Jaada ,   Phytochoria: MED,  Notes: Wild in Libya, medicinal plant.
